A damaged bridge in Atlanta will stay closed through Nov. 8, extending the shutdown by an additional week while crews ready heavy construction.
The closure, which began earlier this month, has been prolonged to allow preparation for extensive construction needed to repair the bridge. The bridge will remain inaccessible for the period Nov. 1–8, 2026.
