The Atlanta Police Department announced it is prepared to police a series of large public gatherings taking place in the city from October 28 through October 31, 2026.
The scheduled events include a WNBA Finals game, a college football rivalry between the University of Georgia and the University of Florida, Halloween celebrations, and a meeting of G20 Foreign Ministers.
These high‑visibility activities in the final days of October have led to a coordinated police readiness effort across Atlanta.
