The Brookhaven City Council voted 3-to-1 to approve plans for a new fire station to be built at Blackburn Park in Brookhaven, Georgia. The decision aims to improve emergency response times in the area.
Neighbors and park users were present as the council considered the proposal, which is part of the city’s ongoing effort to reduce fire response times by adding a station near the park.
