An adult male slipped onto the outbound Red Line tracks at Boston's Central station shortly after midnight on Oct. 26, 2026, and was struck by an oncoming train, resulting in his death.
Boston Transit Police and the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident. The man appeared unsteady on the platform before falling, and investigators said no foul play is suspected.
