Massachusetts State Police announced on October 30, 2026 that skeletal remains recovered from a shallow grave in Quincy have been identified as a former graduate of Randolph High School. The victim, who was 35 years old at the time of death, was determined to have died as a homicide.
The remains were first uncovered more than three decades ago, roughly 30 years prior, and had remained unidentified until the recent investigation by the state police. The identification concludes the long‑standing case of the unknown victim.
The investigation was conducted in cooperation with officials from Randolph High School, who confirmed the graduate’s identity after the police request.
