A developing nor'easter is expected to move toward coastal Massachusetts and parts of southern New England later this week.
Temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 50s to low 60s during the day, with overnight lows in the 40s, and some Metrowest communities could see temperatures dip into the 30s.
The storm follows a start to the week in Boston that featured sunshine and mild temperatures.
