Police reported that a 26-year-old man was shot multiple times on a sidewalk in the 7000 block of South Eberhart Avenue in Greater Grand Crossing on October 25, 2026 at about 9:40 p.m. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.
Area 1 detectives are investigating the incident and have not released additional information.
