Kimberly Motes will step down as executive director of Chicago Shakespeare Theater in November 2026 to assume the position of President and CEO of Hennepin Arts in Minneapolis.
During her three‑year tenure, Motes worked with Artistic Director Edward Hall to mount 35 plays and musicals, including ten North American world premieres, and arranged for two productions to be presented at other venues.
