The Harris County Sheriff's Office arrested a 14-year-old on murder charges after the body of a 17-year-old was discovered inside a vehicle in northeast Harris County. The arrest took place on September 24, 2026.

The victim’s body had been located in the vehicle in August 2026, leading investigators to the teenager who was subsequently charged.
