A driver died after a crash at a west Houston intersection that struck three vehicles and a utility box. The collision occurred on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at approximately 15:39 UTC, and police indicated the driver may have been traveling at a high rate of speed.
The Houston Police Department is investigating the incident.
