A 55-year-old firefighter was sentenced to federal prison after planning and executing an arson that razed a medical center in Spring, Texas, and injured a fellow firefighter.

The blaze destroyed the facility and caused nearly $3.6 million in damage, with estimates of the loss reported at about $3.5 million.
