The Texas Renaissance Festival was evacuated Saturday morning after a propane tank leak was detected near the festival grounds in Grimes County. The site was later cleared for visitors once the leak was secured by the Grimes County Sheriff's Office.
The annual outdoor event, which draws thousands of attendees each fall, resumed operations later in the day after authorities confirmed the area was safe.
