A 1-year-old girl was rescued from a bathtub after nearly drowning at a residence in east Houston on Oct 5, 2026. She was in critical condition and was taken to a local children’s hospital.
Houston Police Department officers, including Lt. JP Horelica, and paramedics responded to the scene, performed emergency CPR, and then transported the child to the pediatric facility. The incident was described as an accidental submersion in the bathtub.
