A longtime KPRC 2 news anchor announced a $30,000 financial contribution for aspiring journalists in Houston on Oct. 28, 2026. The donation is intended to help journalism students afford college tuition.
The anchor has said the gift reflects his own experience of worrying about paying for his college education, prompting him to support the next generation of reporters.
