Firefighters rescued two dogs that were trapped inside a van after the vehicle left the Pacific Coast Highway and crashed onto the rocky shoreline near Malibu on Sunday.
The driver lost control, sending the van off the road where it struck the beach. Responding crews pulled the animals from the wreck and provided care on site.
