Authorities announced Thursday that four individuals have been arrested in connection with a graffiti vandalism spree that damaged multiple high‑profile buildings in downtown Los Angeles. Among those taken into custody is a Los Angeles city employee.

The Los Angeles Police Department, under the direction of Chief Jim McDonnell, identified 12 locations where the graffiti was applied to commercial properties and historic buildings. Officials noted that the identified sites likely represent only a portion of the overall damage.

The arrests were made as part of an ongoing investigation into the vandalism campaign targeting the downtown area.
