The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, that it will provide free rides on all buses, trains, Metro Bike Share and Metro Micro, and will install 12 ballot drop‑off boxes at its stations for the November 3, 2026, general election.
The free‑ride service and ballot boxes will be available throughout the county on election day, intended to make voting more accessible for residents.
