The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power announced that crews are rerouting water around a leaking air‑vacuum valve on a trunk line in Pacific Palisades, warning residents that the work could cause pressure drops or temporary loss of service.
The department explained that the leak requires a temporary water diversion and asked residents to conserve water while the valve is repaired.
