The San Gabriel Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District announced that mosquito control treatments will be applied in Altadena and Monterey Park, California, on October 7 and October 8, 2026. The applications will occur each night between 12:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., covering the area in Altadena between Glenrose Avenue and Marengo Avenue.
The nighttime pesticide applications are part of the district’s ongoing efforts in the San Gabriel Valley to reduce mosquito populations and lower the public‑health risk posed by disease‑carrying insects.
