Pasadena voters will consider Measure PFD on the November 3, 2026 ballot. The proposal is a special parcel tax that would charge owners of improved property 19 cents per square foot each year, while low‑income homeowners would be exempt.
If approved, the tax is intended to create a dedicated fund for the Pasadena Fire Department, covering costs for fire stations, apparatus, equipment and staffing.
