The Los Angeles County Ethics Commission will hold its inaugural meeting on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, and is inviting members of the public to attend. During the session, four public members will be selected to fill vacant seats, moving the body toward its full complement of seven members. The commission currently has three of its seven seats filled.

The newly created commission is using this first meeting to address the shortfall and complete its roster by adding the four public members.
