Two members of the Beverly Hills Fire Department were wounded while fighting a fire that broke out in an apartment building on the 200 block of South Rexford Drive. The incident began at 10:30 a.m. on September 9, 2026, and the blaze was declared under control by 12:45 p.m. The residence is located across from Beverly Vista Middle School.
Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after the 10:30 a.m. alarm. Crews entered the building to suppress flames that had already spread through several units.
