Law enforcement agencies carried out a coordinated operation in the Lower Keys of Monroe County on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of fifteen individuals suspected of human trafficking and online child exploitation.
The effort involved the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, FBI, Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service and Monroe County deputies, and was intended to disrupt trafficking networks and halt the online exploitation of children.
