On October 30, 2026, undercover operations in Polk County led to the arrest of 281 individuals suspected of child exploitation and human trafficking.
The seven‑day sting, named “Polk Around and Find Out II,” was coordinated by the Florida Attorney General’s Office and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and included a traveler sting that resulted in 32 arrests.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier and Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the operation was intended to disrupt networks of child predators and traffickers as part of a statewide initiative to combat sexual exploitation and trafficking.
