The National Weather Service announced that a flash flood warning for parts of Broward County expired at 5:15 PM EDT on October 17, 2026. The warning had applied to areas including Coral Springs, Parkland, Lakeview, Deerfield Beach, Margate and Coconut Creek.

Rain showers across South Florida earlier that day prompted the issuance of the warning. Periods of rain on Saturday had affected the region, leading the service to activate the alert before it was later lifted.
