On September 30, 2026, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles began issuing redesigned driver’s licenses and identification cards. The new designs include state-themed graphics such as an orange, a gator, a manatee, a Space Shuttle and the motto “Let Us Alone.”
The redesign aims to showcase symbols of Florida’s natural and cultural heritage on the state’s official identification documents.
