On September 25, 2026, a minor was found unresponsive in Shenandoah Park, Miami. First responders from Miami Police and Miami Fire Rescue secured the scene and transported the youth to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The park was closed for the remainder of the day as investigators from Miami Police began examining the incident. A person identified as Rolando Escalona was present at the location during the response.
