The Australian psychedelic rock group King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard earned its first Billboard Hot 100 placement after a song was featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto VI. The inclusion of the track generated enough streams and sales to secure a spot on the chart.
The development was reported from Miami on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026, and involved band member Stu Mackenzie.
Before this, the group had never entered the Hot 100.
