Six Flags announced in October 2026 that seat belts will be installed on its Georgia roller coaster. The move follows a rider’s fatal fall from the ride earlier this month.

The company also said it will upgrade the restraint systems on other similar attractions to include seat belts.

The safety upgrade is being implemented as a direct response to the recent fatal accident.
