Police responded to a gunfire incident on September 29, 2026 at about 9:53 p.m. in Overtown, Miami. The shots were detected by the ShotSpotter system near Northwest 5th Avenue between Northwest 6th and 7th Streets.
Miami Fire Rescue and other emergency personnel arrived on scene and moved the two male victims with gunshot wounds to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The investigation of the shooting remains ongoing.
