A woman was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting at a residence in southwest Miami‑Dade on Thursday morning. Deputies from the Miami‑Dade Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.

The response by the deputies resulted in the victim being transported to the hospital for treatment.
