Around 35,000 participants will run the Beneva Marathon in Montreal on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10, prompting road closures and traffic detours.

The marathon is an annual sporting event that draws tens of thousands of runners and results in short‑term traffic disruptions as the city imposes temporary road restrictions.
