Santé Québec announced that 500,000 appointments for influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations have been booked across the province as of October 16, 2026.
The number of bookings is 2.5 times higher than the total recorded at the same point in the previous year.
The health agency said the campaign is intended to protect residents from both illnesses, noting that experts warn the flu season may begin early.
