Santé Québec reported that, by Oct. 16, 2026, half a million flu and COVID‑19 vaccine appointments had been scheduled across the province.
The total represents a rise to 2.5 times the number of bookings recorded for the same period last year.
Health officials said the surge in early reservations indicates an early start to the 2026‑27 flu season.
