A Montreal organization, Agora Déclic, announced a new housing project designed for young adults leaving Quebec's youth protection system.
Each year about 2,000 children age out of the province's protection system, and nearly one‑third of them become homeless, a circumstance the initiative aims to change.
The project will provide homes for those transitioning out of care, with the purpose of reducing homelessness among this group.
