Two men charged with murder for a fire that killed a French tourist and her daughter in Old Montreal have reportedly been assaulted while in prison custody.
The fire, which occurred in Old Montreal, resulted in the deaths of the tourist and her child. The two suspects, now detained, say they were beaten by other inmates or staff while in detention.
