Canada Post announced that it will start delivering parcels on Saturdays and Sundays in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa beginning this fall.
The rollout forms part of a major restructuring of the financially troubled Crown corporation, aimed at improving its finances and service levels.
The weekend service is expected to reach roughly seven million households across the three cities by the end of 2027.
