On Monday, October 26, 2026, the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (IUGM) opened a new laboratory at its research centre in Montreal. The lab is dedicated to studying hearing and vestibular disorders that are linked to aging.
The facility is the first of its kind in Canada and reflects the institute’s focus on health issues affecting older adults. The initiative involved the Joly Family.
