Children under 18 in the Chomedey riding took part in a mock election organized by Elections Québec on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026, and selected the solidarity candidate.
The vote was part of the Électeurs en herbe youth‑voting simulation, a program run by Elections Québec at each provincial election since 2018 to teach young people how the electoral process works.
