Community organizations and the Nuit des sans‑abri organizers hosted an awareness night in Saint‑Jérôme on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026. The event simulated the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness for participants, aiming to deepen public understanding of the issue.
The night formed part of the annual Nuit des sans‑abri, a Quebec-wide initiative that brings together local groups in the Laurentians each year to raise awareness about homelessness.
