Santé Québec announced that 500,000 appointments for influenza and COVID‑19 vaccines have been scheduled as the provincial campaign gets underway in October 2026.
The bookings represent 2.5 times more appointments than in the same period last year, showing an early surge in demand.
The health agency said the large‑scale drive is intended to protect the population as experts warn of an early flu season.
