On Sunday, a dispute erupted in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood of Montreal when the provincial health authority began erecting a fence around a small wooded area.

Local residents said the fence creates noise and disrupts the neighbourhood, prompting complaints as the installation proceeds.
