Children under 18 in the Chomedey neighbourhood of Laval participated in the Électeurs en herbe mock election on 11 October 2026 and selected the solidarity candidate.
The vote is part of Élections Québec's Électeurs en herbe initiative, a program run during each provincial election to let young people experience the voting process. The initiative has been operating since 2018 to teach youth about how elections work.
