Santé Québec Laval announced that appointment scheduling for the RSV vaccine will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, ahead of the vaccination period that starts on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
Kahina Slimani, a spokesperson for the authority, confirmed the start dates and said the programme is aimed at residents with chronic illnesses, who face higher risk of complications from respiratory viruses even when their conditions are well managed.
The regional health authority runs this annual campaign each year to vaccinate residents of Quebec against respiratory viruses such as RSV and influenza.
