A man in his 40s died Saturday around 11 a.m. after he fell onto the tracks at Lionel‑Groulx metro station and was struck by an STM train that could not stop in time.
Emergency responders arrived following a 911 call reporting a person on the tracks. Lionel‑Groulx is a major station in Montreal’s metro network, operated by the Société de transport de Montréal.
