Montreal police reported a rise in jewelry store robberies that are being carried out by recruited minors, including individuals as young as 13.
The force identified 13 minors in connection with the recent increase in thefts, noting that the city has seen a broader uptick in jewelry store incidents.
Police indicated that these young people are being recruited to commit the crimes.
