Montreal Health Center Launches Food Waste Reduction Initiative

The Santé Québec Centre‑Sud‑de‑l’Île‑de‑Montréal–Universitaire health center announced a new project aimed at cutting food waste in its facilities.

Health facilities in the Centre‑Sud‑de‑l’Île‑de‑Montréal region discard about 800,000 kilograms of food each year, and the initiative seeks to lower that amount.

The effort is being carried out in partnership with La Transformerie.
