The Office municipal d’habitation de Montréal (OMHM) will start removing roughly 20 vulnerable families from public‑housing units in Rivière-des-Prairies. The evictions are tied to a demolition programme and are slated to be completed by early November 2026, within three weeks of Oct. 23, 2026.

OMHM, which manages the city’s public‑housing portfolio, is clearing the affected units to make way for demolition. The process will impact about 20 families.
