City crews and World Cycling Championships organizers removed the temporary barriers and signage on September 28, 2026, allowing traffic to resume at the intersections of Mount Royal Avenue and Park Avenue and Pine Avenue and Park Avenue.
These two junctions had been closed for the duration of the World Cycling Championships, during which race infrastructure such as signs and barriers was installed. The removal of that infrastructure marks the reopening of the streets to normal use.
