On October 15, the mayor announced a winter road maintenance plan that allocates $15.8 million to modernize operations in Montreal.

The budget designates $13.3 million for the purchase of new equipment, with the remaining funds aimed at updating maintenance processes.

The investment is intended to improve snow removal and road safety throughout the city’s harsh winter season.
